Jonathan teaches private lessons on a wide variety of instruments as well as general music classes in the public school system. He is a lead teacher in Science Songs Rock, which combines music and song writing with the creative writing and science standards for 2nd through 6th grades, with residencies in numerous schools in South Carolina and Virginia. Jonathan's summers are spent in the mountains of Western North Carolina where he teaches music and leads daily nature hikes as a mentor at the Green River Preserve, a summer camp focused on environmental education. In an effort to spend more time with his wife and three children he plays music and teaches closer to home these days. You can find him on stage, in the classroom, on the trail or at www.facebook.com/jonathangraymusic. He is thrilled for the opportunity to share this Antarctic adventure with his daughter Isabel and to bring live music to the end of the earth.
