Isabel gray

At 11 years old, Isabel is the youngest individual to be invited personally by Robert Swan to participate in his Antarctic expeditions for the 2041 Foundation. Her gregarious personality, curious mind and altruistic heart have Isabel making friends and creating rich memories wherever she ventures. Isabel loves animals, playing music (violin and ukulele), exploring nature, reading, writing and spending time with family and friends. She became a vegetarian at the age of 6 and a vegan at 8 when she connected the dots on the food supply chain. Isabel applies this strong will and depth of convictions to all facets of her life.

This past year Isabel personally raised over $1000 for various non-profits in the community by playing her fiddle. The seed was planted for exploring far-away lands since her first trip abroad at 8 months old and she has been plotting adventures ever since. In the future, Isabel is most interested in focusing her travels on humanitarian and environmental efforts.

Mission Statement:  During this life-changing expedition, Isabel is very excited about seeing orcas, penguins and seals up-close in their natural habitat and meeting people from around the world who share similar values for making this planet we call home a better place for everyone.
